Wiped Clean

In the past, I've been guilty of sleeping with a face full of makeup.  I'm sure we've all been there and some ladies have even admitted to still doing so (shame on you!).  Mind you,  I'm blessed with good skin, but this is not to say that the result of leaving makeup on did not clog my pores and have me ending up with a singular, bright red zit in the most awkward place (think Rudolph and you'll get the picture).  Others have it even worse, so bottom-line, it is imperative for all of us to cleanse our faces before sleeping.

Normally, I am able to complete the full routine and deep cleanse (been using Pond's cold cream forever), wash, tone, and moisturize.  However, I still have those nights when I come home and it feels as though all the life has been sucked out of me and I only have enough energy to sink into bed.  On said nights, I turn to my side table where I keep the most remarkable make-up remover wipes from The Face Shop called the Herb Day Lip & Eye Make-up Remover.  I pull out 1 sheet, give my face a quick but thorough wipe and journey to Lala Land.

Highly recommended
These wipes are ultra light and gentle on the skin, yet the slightest sweeping motions gets all your makeup off.  Now, just because it is stated as "day" does not mean that you can only use these for daytime.  The herbs used in its formulation are revitalizing, which is a great pick-me-up in the morning and noon, but there's nothing wrong with feeling refreshed before you sleep too.

Obviously, aside from personal use, I also use these wipes on clients during shoots when heavier and longer lasting makeup is applied.  It works great on lipstick removal for layout changes, even when it comes to those really stubborn, unbelievably hard to remove lipsticks.  What with the rave reviews from clients I have used these on and my own fulfillment, I am highly recommending these makeup remover sheets.

1 wipe goes a long way

They're highly affordable, work wonders, come in packets of 30 sheets, smell lovely, and leave your skin hydrated and fresh.  Remember that our faces are one of the first things that people notice when they meet us so facial skin care is more important than I can stress.  That being said, take the time to wipe your faces clean with The Face Shop's Herb Day Lip & Eye Make-up Remover.

  2. Hi Ailyn! I use Pond's Facial Scrub (the white tube with the mint green cover) and I'm currently using Mineral Flowers Night Moisturizer (the pink one). There are different colors for different skin types (my skin is normal/combination). Available at Watson's.
